We tend to over-romanticize motherhood.  Mothers can be merciful, patient, and loving. Worn by the monotony and relentlessness of homekeeping, they can also appear vengeful and swift with their judgment and punishment.  The Mad Moms series is inspired by those moments when her displeasure is ominously clear.
